Born: 28 October 1982 in the Simpson's, Edinburgh. I was brought up in Orwell Place and went to Orwell Nursery and St Cuthberts. I've always lived around Dalry, apart from a few years in Kirkliston but that was keek
Q: When/why did you first start drinking in the Tynecastle Arms?
A: When I first started working at the Gorgie Farm, Niall brought me over and bought me peach schnapps and lemonade. Used to come over every Sunday evening with Niall and a group of people from the farm. Niall was old enough. In fact, too old
Q: Why do you keep going in?:
A: I work here. If I didn't come in, I would be fired. Also, to see the random Gorgie bints and bintos
Q: What is your favourite tipple?
A: I drink Black Beard's - Morgan's Spiced, Coke and Guinness
Q: What is your favourite film?
A: 'Sister Act.'
Q: What is your favourite song?
A: 'Wuthering Heights' by Kate Bush because my mum's name is Catherine and I used to come home from the pub, singing it
Q: What place in Edinburgh do you think every visitor to the city should see?
A: If the Beltane Fire Festival was on, I'd take them up there. Took a friend from Stirling up there last time. She drunk a bottle and a half of vodka then fell over and cracked her head on a rock. It was funny. She had toilet roll hanging out the back of her trousers as well. Like doing the fire-breathing up at the Beltane. You take paraffin in your mouth, then spray it out onto a lit rag (torch.) I always get lost at the Beltane and end up sleeping up Calton Hill. They call it Scotland's Disgrace but it's not a disgrace. It's great
Q: What don't you like about Edinburgh?
A: The buses are more expensive than they are in Stirling (Menstrie) where I live at the moment. Menstrie is the best place in the world, ever because it's so cheap and you can get Kerr's pink potatoes which you can't get in Edinburgh. There was a guy from Menstrie on 'Countdown' recently, so you can link to that now. Edinburgh buses never come when they are supposed to. If a politician told as many lies as Lothian Regional Transport, they'd be out of office. I like travelling. I was teaching in Nepal for 4 months until Maoist rebels chucked us out and tear-gassed us. The Nepalese Royal Family got shot when I was there. I was working at the school that day, and didn't know. Suddenly we heard the boom boom of the teargas canisters. It wasn't too bad though. Just like rubbing onions into your eyes, really
