WORST MUSICAL EXPERIENCE

The support band for PJ Harvey that Kev made me watch. Truly fucking awful and so unmemorable I can't remember their name. The experience has scarred me for life and was even worse than watching Kev swap bodily fluids with the clitoris moulding art student.

MOST BIZARRE MUSICAL EXPERIENCE

Sitting in a hippy cafe in Brevard, North Carolina, listening to a fat old lady belt out The Star Spangled Banner in a pitch high enough to return glass to sand, ably supported by a bearded hillbilly playing the saw.

MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT

Watching the said bearded hillbilly pack up and realise he has a bespoke, guitar-stylee, hard case for his saw.

PERSONAL INJURY OF THE YEAR

Double sting - toe & calf - from a North Carolinian Ground Bee. Double ankle breaks are just passe.........

GREATEST SPORTING ACHIEVEMENT OF THE YEAR
