INGREDIENTS

Serves: Senga, Stevie, Margaret and Michelle

As many slices of bread as you want cheesy beanos

A big chunk of cheddar cheese

A large tin of Heinz/HP Beans

As Senga pointed out, cheesy beanos can also prove highly effective in the toastie form, however, if you are going to attempt this, mind and watch out for the steaming bean juice

Senga's Cheesy Beanos

SENGA SPILLS THE BEANS

1. Toast one side of the bread

2. Heat tin of beans as you are doing this

3. Spoon the hot beans onto the white side of your bread

4. Put slices of cheese on top of the beans

5. Bung it under the grill until it's ready

At this point, an argument broke out in the bar which went something like this:

Duncan: That's just cheese on toast!

Senga: No, that's cheesy beanos. I grew up on cheesy beanos. They're toastie friendly

Sarah, then tried to take advantage of the situation and approached Senga

Sarah: Can I have a couple of slices of cheese off you, Senga?

Senga: I'll have to see how much I've got for the toasties first, sweetheart. I'm running out as it is

Sarah: But I've nae cheese in the house
